Dental Hygiene
+
Professional cleaning and prevention of gum and cavity issues.
Professional cleaning removes tartar and plaque from the places a toothbrush cannot reach — mainly between the teeth and along the gum line. That is exactly where gum inflammation and decay usually start.
A visit typically includes an assessment of your gums, ultrasonic tartar removal, stain removal and polishing. It also covers home care: which brush to choose and how to use interdental brushes or floss. Most adults are advised to have hygiene twice a year, more often if they are prone to gum inflammation; we will recommend an interval based on your situation.
Teeth Whitening
+
Safe brightening of tooth shade with a natural result.
Whitening lightens the shade of the enamel using a peroxide-based gel. It changes neither the shape nor the surface of the tooth, only the colour — which is why it is always done on cleaned teeth and after checking that there is no untreated decay or gum inflammation.
Home whitening uses custom-made trays that you receive together with the gel and wear at home as instructed. The result appears gradually and is gentler on tooth sensitivity. Fillings, crowns and veneers do not change colour — if you have them among your front teeth, expect that the difference in shade may need to be addressed afterwards.
Preventive Check-ups
+
Tooth check-ups and early detection of all problems before they cause pain.
A check-up is the cheapest treatment there is. It reveals decay, gum inflammation or a crack at a stage when it does not hurt yet and the solution is simple. Decay usually announces itself only once it has reached deeper.
We examine the teeth, gums and soft tissues and, where needed, add X-rays that show what the eye cannot — decay between teeth or the situation around the roots. Adults are usually advised to come twice a year; for children the interval depends on their age and risk of decay.
Tooth Decay
+
Fillings. Gentle treatment of cavities using modern materials and procedures.
Decay is damage to the hard dental tissues that does not heal on its own. The affected tissue is removed and the resulting cavity is restored with a filling — most often a white composite material layered directly in the tooth and cured with light.
Treatment is done under local anaesthetic, so it is painless. The extent of the work and the price depend on the size of the decay and the number of surfaces that need restoring, which is why the exact price is set after the examination. The sooner decay is caught, the smaller the filling needed and the longer the tooth lasts.
Pediatric Care
+
Patient approach, prevention, and habits for healthy little teeth.
With children, the priority is building trust in dental treatment. The first visits are therefore introductory — the child looks around the surgery, tries sitting in the chair and nothing unpleasant happens.
We focus on prevention: monitoring how teeth come through, age-appropriate brushing practice, fluoride application and, where useful, fissure sealing — sealing the grooves on the chewing surfaces of molars, where decay most often begins. Baby teeth are worth treating: they hold the space for the permanent ones, and a child feels pain from them just the same.
Microscopic Treatment
+
High-precision work in detail for better quality and control.
A surgical microscope magnifies the working area and, above all, lights it properly. The dentist can see details that cannot be distinguished with the naked eye — hairline cracks, remnants of decay at the edge of a filling, or the entrances to root canals.
It is most useful in endodontics, when repairing old fillings, and in prosthetics, where the precise fit of a crown margin matters. More precise work means less healthy tissue is lost and the joints are harder for bacteria to reach — in other words, treatment that lasts longer.
Endodontics
+
Root canal treatment with an emphasis on precision.
Endodontics is root canal treatment. It becomes necessary when decay or inflammation reaches the dental pulp — typically announced by pain on biting, sensitivity to heat, or throbbing pain at night.
The pulp is removed and the canals are cleaned, disinfected and sealed so that bacteria cannot return. It is delicate and time-consuming work; the number of canals differs from tooth to tooth, and so does the price. A treated tooth tends to be more brittle, so endodontics is often followed by a build-up and a crown.
Post-endodontics, Build-ups, and Posts
+
Stabilization and build-up of the tooth after endodontic treatment.
After root canal treatment a tooth has less of its own tissue and copes less well with chewing forces. To keep it from cracking, its shape is restored with a build-up and, where needed, reinforced with a post placed into the root.
For badly damaged teeth a build-up is not the final solution — it is followed by a crown or an overlay that spreads the load across the whole surface. Which approach is right depends on how much healthy tooth wall remains; we will go through it with you before any work starts.
Crown, Onlay, Overlay
+
Restoration of tooth function and aesthetics using precise prosthetics.
When little of the tooth's own tissue remains, a filling can no longer hold it and the tooth needs a restoration that carries the chewing load. A crown covers the whole tooth, an onlay or overlay only the damaged part — preserving more healthy tissue.
The restoration is made in a laboratory from an impression or a digital scan, and you wear a temporary one in the meantime. We choose the material according to the position of the tooth and appearance requirements: at the front it is mainly about colour and translucency, at the back about strength.
Veneers
+
Aesthetic solution for shape, color, and smile harmony.
A veneer is a thin ceramic shell bonded to the front surface of a tooth. It addresses appearance — shape, colour, small gaps or slight rotation — in situations where the tooth is otherwise healthy and there is no reason to prepare it for a crown.
It is worth aligning expectations beforehand: veneers are designed as a whole with regard to the smile line, not tooth by tooth. Only a minimal amount of enamel is removed, but the procedure is irreversible — which is why it is always preceded by a consultation and a plan.
Dental Bridge
+
Replacement of missing teeth with an emphasis on stability and comfort.
A bridge replaces a missing tooth by resting on the neighbouring teeth, which are prepared and covered with crowns. It is fixed in place, cannot be taken out and handles normal chewing.
The drawback is that teeth which may be perfectly healthy have to be prepared. If the neighbouring teeth are sound, an implant is usually the gentler replacement; if they need a crown anyway, a bridge is a sensible solution. Which suits you better depends on the condition of your teeth and bone.
Dental Implants
+
Modern tooth replacement option with a natural feel and function.
An implant is a titanium screw placed into the jawbone that replaces the root of a missing tooth. Once healed, a crown is fitted onto it. The neighbouring teeth are left untouched and the bone at the site stops receding.
Placement is done under local anaesthetic; healing then takes months — the bone has to fuse with the implant before it can be loaded. It requires sufficient bone and healthy gums, both assessed from an X-ray at the initial consultation. Thorough hygiene and not smoking have a decisive effect on the long-term result.
